SpaceX astronauts hold news conference after test flight and splashdown | USA TODAY

NASA astronauts hold a news conference after their history-making SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule flight.

Named Endeavour for SpaceX’s second demonstration – but first crewed – mission to the ISS, the spacecraft successfully deployed its parachutes and set the astronauts down on calm, “glass-like” waters about 40 miles off the coast of Pensacola. As expected, the splashdown was observed at 2:48 p.m. Eastern time.
